LAW SCHOOL GETS TOP 10 BILLING
U.S.News & World Report has ranked the IU School of Law-Indianapolis among the top 10 schools in the specialty of healthcare law.

The IU law school located on the IUPUI campus placed eighth in the healthcare law rankings. The rankings, based on nominations by faculty who teach at peer institutions, were published in the newsstand book, "Best Graduate Schools," that went on sale April 8.

The University of Houston law school was ranked No. 1 in the healthcare law field.

In the U.S. News' overall ranking of the nation's accredited law schools that are approved by the American Bar Association, the IU School of Law-Indianapolis placed in the second tier which includes schools that are broadly similar in quality and would rank from 52nd - 90th.

TRUSTEES APPROVE INCREASES IN TUITION AND FEES
The Board of Trustees have unanimously approved a 9 percent increase in tuition for students on the Bloomington and IUPUI campuses and an 8 percent tuition increase for the regional campuses for the 2002-03 academic year.

IUPUI STUDENTS BUILD OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD VEHICLE
IUPUI students have built a vehicle designed to travel the moon for NASA's annual "Great Moonbuggy Race" in Alabama on Saturday. The race pits college teams and their vehicles against one another on a course that mimics the surface of the moon. The moonbuggies are modeled after the original Lunar Roving Vehicle used by Apollo astronauts and must meet many of the same restrictions including the ability to fold up into a 64-inch-cube.

IU TRUSTEES SELECT NEW DEAN OF IU SCHOOL OF LAW-INDIANAPOLIS; APPOINTEE TO REPLACE RETIRING DEAN LEFSTEIN

BUSINESS STUDENTS STUDY HOW TO TAKE INDIANA COMPANIES GLOBAL
Can you imagine Dairy Queen in Mexico? Or a Simon mall in Germany? Students in the Kelley School of Business can. On Wednesday, April 17 from 4-4:30 p.m. in the second floor corridor of University Library, the students will present their business plans for the feasibility of Indiana businesses in countries across the world as part of the school's annual International Business Conference Competition. Local industry leaders from companies including Eli Lilly and Rolls Royce will judge the teams and present awards at 4:30 p.m. in BS 2000.
