FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN TOPS $600 MILLION
The comprehensive fundraising Campaign for IUPUI has passed the $600 million mark, with $606,173,360. That represents 86.6 percent of the $700 million campaign goal. Some $356.5 million is from private support, $204.9 million from non-government grants and $44.6 million is from the Riley Memorial Association. The campaign continues through 2004.
The IUPUI family has been very supportive of the campaign priority to ensure exceptional faculty by donating many of the endowed faculty chairs and professorships in this campaign. As an example, the School of Liberal Arts gained three new chairs through generous gifts from IUPUI faculty, staff and administration.
