Meet the Author
Author Lydia Minatoya will speak from noon to 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 2 in the Lilly Auditorium in University Library. This talk, part of the BookMarks series, is free and open to the public, and will include a discussion of Minatoya's novel The Strangeness of Beauty.

Etiquette Luncheon Taking Reservations
Mark your calendar!!
Reservations are now being accepted for the IUPUI Business Etiquette Luncheon to be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 27, 2004 at the University Place Hotel University Ballroom. The program will include a meal, tips for dining and general business etiquette from a professional corporate trainer.
Who should attend? Anyone who may need to eat a meal at an interview, while entertaining clients, or while at a professional function.
Cost is $12. Tickets may be purchased at the Career Center, BS2010 or by phone with a credit card at (317) 274-2554. Reservations are required and will be accepted through Feb. 20 or until the event is sold out.

• Preparing for Promotion and Tenure: What Should I Know?, 9 a.m. - noon, Friday, Feb. 27, University Library, Lilly Auditorium. This workshop addresses the major processes entailed in promotion and tenure deliberations. It focuses on dossier preparation and review and includes a mock committee meeting designed to demystify the review process.
