IUPUI'S COMMUNITY LEARNING NETWORK OPEN HOUSE SET FOR GLENDALE CAMPUS

INDIANAPOLIS - IUPUI will host an open house from 4 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13 at its Glendale Campus, located on the lower level of the Glendale Mall, 6101 N. Keystone Avenue.

The event, free and open to all, will feature 15-minute demonstrations and lectures on topics related to noncredit courses to be offered through the IUPUI Community Learning Network during the Winter 2002 semester that begins in January.

More than 200 noncredit courses are offered at the mall and other off-campus locations, including 11 area high schools. Course topics range from computer, art and photography classes to courses in dance, business and foreign language.

In addition to noncredit courses, the IUPUI Glendale Campus offers dozens of courses for college credit toward degree programs offered through IUPUI. Individuals may enroll in noncredit classes during the Dec. 13 open house, and may meet with counselors to discuss credit programs being offered.

Refreshments will be served, and door prizes, including gift certificates for non-credit classes, will be awarded.
