A Weeks of Welcome Fest will take place from noon to 5 p.m., Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, in the Taylor Hall Courtyard.

The purpose of this event is to create a "Grand Opening" tradition for IUPUI students as another exciting academic year beings. Welcoming both incoming and returning students to campus, the event will feature adult theme park rides, student organizations, and various games with prize giveaways, a DJ, and live bands.

The event is sponsored by IUPUI Housing and Residence Life, Bepko Scholars Program, and the Honors Program.
