The Department of Cellular and Integrative Physiology is proud to present a special seminar by Charles P. Emerson, Jr., Ph.D., at noon on Wednesday May 7, 2008, in Emerson Hall Auditorium (Room 304).

Emerson is the director of the Boston Biomedical Research Institute and his research group has made many pivotal discoveries in understanding the molecular pathways that underlie vertebrate development. His grandfather was dean of the IUSM from 1911-1932.

Emerson’s lecture will be entitled "Cooperative Regulatory Pathways for Skeletal Myogenesis in Development and Cancer."
