Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the presentations of the two finalists for the position of associate vice chancellor for academic affairs.

IUPUI Executive Vice Chancellor and Dean of the Faculties Uday Sukhatme has announced that Sharon Hamilton, who currently serves as associate vice chancellor, will retire this summer. He has invited applications for Hamilton’s successor, and after initial interviews a search committee has recommended two finalists.

Marianne S. Wokeck, professor of history and associate dean of academic affairs in the School of Liberal Arts, will describe her interest in and vision for the position from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2008, in the University Library Auditorium.

Mary L. Fisher, professor of nursing and chair of the Environments for Health Department in the School of Nursing, will give her presentation from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, also in the University Library Auditorium.

Faculty, students and staff should submit comments on the candidates’ qualifications to the search committee chair, Trudy Banta, at tbanta@iupui.edu by Thursday, April 10.
