The Center for the Study of Religion and American Culture in the School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI will present Amanda Porterfield, Ph.D., as guest speaker on Thursday, April 3, 2008. Her lecture, entitled "Religious Pluralism in the Study of American Religion," is slated for noon to 1 p.m. in the IUPUI Campus Center, Room CE268.

Porterfield is the Robert A. Spivey Professor of Religion at Florida State University and author of several books, including "The Protestant Experience in America."
