Two IUPUI External Affairs staff members will go bald for a good cause.

Marty Posch, assistant director of community relations, and Scott Chevalier, IUPUI Webmaster, will participate in a Knights of Columbus fund-raiser to benefit childhood cancer research through the St. Baldricks Foundation. The men have volunteered to have their locks shaved and collect donations from sponsors.

The fund-raiser will take place at 5 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2008, at the Knights of Columbus #3660, 511 E. Thompson Road, Indianapolis. Food and drink will be available during the event which will end around 9 p.m. Participants can view NCAA tournament games on a big screen TV during the head-shaving affair.

Event organizers hope to raise $50,000.
