Play Santa Claus for Those in Need!

The Center for Service and Learning is conducting its 12th annual Holiday Assistance Program in which the IUPUI community can help spread the joy of the holidays by playing Santa to those most in need.

Participants, either departments or groups, decide how many individuals to sponsor based on their ability to spend a minimum of $50 on each person sponsored. Service and Learning provides information on the family/individual(s) to be sponsored, and then the department shops, wraps and delivers the gifts in mid-December.

This year partner agencies are Christamore House, Hawthorne Community Center, and two new partners, Coburn Place and Lutherwood.

The deadline to register is Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007.
