M-Plan HMO Discontinuation Effective December 31, 2007

M-Plan executives have released notice of their business decision to "exit the market."

For IU employees enrolled in M-Plan, this means that:

• M-Plan coverage will continue through December 31, 2007, with no change in benefits;
• During Open Enrollment, M-Plan members will need to select an alternate plan for coverage effective Jan. 1, 2008. Additional information will be provided during Open Enrollment in October.
