Public Conversationalists Named for Spirit & Place Showcase
Eavesdrop on a spontaneous exchange among three nationally known figures from the arts, humanities and religion as they discuss this year's Spirit & Place theme, Living Generously.
The 12th annual Public Conversation will take place at 2 p.m., Sunday Nov. 4, 2007, at Clowes Memorial Hall on the Butler University campus. The showcase event will feature Patty Stonesifer, Indianapolis native and CEO of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; Bernice Johnson Reagon, composer, scholar, and founder of the Grammy Award-winning ensemble Sweet Honey in the Rock; and Nathan Dungan, author and founder of Share Save Spend, which helps youth and adults understand the relationship between money, values, and habits in today's hyper-consumer culture.
Admission is free, but tickets are required. Tickets will be available beginning Sept. 14 at the Clowes Box Office, Butler University, 4602 Sunset Avenue.
