Student Wins International Industry Award

Kathryn “Kat” Hauschild, a senior in the IUPUI Department of Tourism, Conventions and Event Management, is the recipient of the International Association of Conference Centers’ 2007 Conference Center Industry Award. In nominating Hauschild, James D. Bennett of the TCEM department, cited her work in assisting with the Indiana Multicultural and Collegiate Job Fair as well as her academic accomplishments

The award included a $5,000 grant and an expense-paid trip to IACC’s annual conference held in April in New Brunswick, NJ.
