First Miss Purple & Gold Scholarship Pageant (Correction)

An announcement in the April 20 Inside IUPUI published the incorrect location for the Miss Purple & Gold Scholarship Pageant.

The Black Student Union, in conjunction with the men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., will present the First Annual Miss Purple & Gold Scholarship Pageant. This prestigious event will begin at 7 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2007, at the Madame Walker Theatre Center.

Nine women will vie for the opportunity to be the first ever IUPUI Black Student Union pageant queen.

The Miss Purple & Gold Scholarship Pageant will include an opening number, evening gown competition, swim suit competition and talent show.

Tickets, $5 for students with valid school ID, and $7 for the general public, are on sale now at the Black Student Union Desk in University College.
