The Moving Company to Celebrate 24 Years
The Moving Company at IUPUI will celebrate its 24-year history with a program featuring a mix of dance performances ranging from modern to ballet to jazz to tap.
The non-profit student organization will present “3(8)s – 24 Years of the Moving Company at IUPUI,” at 8 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2007, at the Scottish Rite Cathedral Auditorium, 650 N. Meridian St.
The program will include ballet variations from Sleeping Beauty and Don Quixote; and modern works created by former company members, Ed Godby Schwab and Kelly Wootan. Also included is director Paige Prill Craigie’s Threads, first presented at the American College Dance Festival in 2000 set to Lou Harrison’s Canticle #1.
Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. IUPUI students, faculty and staff get in free with their JagTag.
