Edward C. Moore Symposium Discusses Multiculturalism

The Edward C. Moore Symposium on Teaching Excellence will take place from 8:15 a.m. to 2 p.m., today (Friday, March 2, 2007) at the Informatics and Communications Technology Complex.

The symposium provides an opportunity for the university community to gather and discuss academic issues of interest to all. This year’s theme is “Multiculturalism Matters: Educating for a Global Society.”

Concurrent sessions will provide a view of innovation and excellence in the college classroom with time set aside for faculty to share their successes and challenges in the classroom.

The symposium, one of IUPUI’s oldest public events, is named in honor of Edward C. Moore, former dean of the faculties. For additional information, go to http://www.ecmoore.iupui.edu.
