International Public Health Lecture
Hear the compelling story of early global health efforts during a free lecture featuring University of Rochester Professor Ted Brown on Thursday, Feb. 8.
Brown will present “International Public Health before the World Health Organization” from 4 to 5 p.m., Feb. 8 in IB 301 (Medical Science Library). Brown is professor of medical humanities and history, community and preventative medicine at the University of Rochester.
Refreshments will be served and Continuing Medical Education credit is available. This lecture is free and open to the public, but space is limited.
The event is sponsored by the Medical Humanities & Health Studies Program, the Center for Bioethics and the John Shaw Billings History of Medicine Society.
