IU School of Liberal Arts Sabbatical Speakers Series: The Changing Atlantic Alliance

Since the invasion of Iraq in March 2003, the Atlantic Alliance has changed beyond recognition. In this presentation, John McCormick, Professor and Chair of Political Science, argues that US global leadership is on the decline.

He believes this is due, in part, to the challenge of a resurgent Europe, whose new global role offers both a different interpretation of global problems and a different approach to addressing those problems.
