IU Faculty Innovators to Demonstrate Tools for Technology-based Teaching
Four IUPUI faculty are among the 10 faculty members from across Indiana University's campuses who will demonstrate new innovations for technology-based teaching, as part of the 2006 IU AT&T Fellows Summer Leadership Forum. One of the four, Wanda Worley of the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, will be this year's featured presenter.
The forum is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, June 23, in the ICTC auditorium, IT 152, and the atrium.
The IUPUI faculty presenters and their innovation projects are:
- Eugenia Fernandez and Sally Catlin, Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, Computer and Information Technology; “Exploring the Use of ePortfolio for Assessment”
- Sara Anne Hook, IU School of Informatics; “Managing, Extracting, and Assessing Data from Discussion Forum Postings in the Online Courses”
- Wanda Worley, Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, Technical Communications; “Preparing for Innovation in Technical Communication: An Evaluation and Planning Study
