2006 Chancellor’s Academic Honors Convocation

Chancellor Charles R. Bantz invites all faculty, staff and students of IUPUI to attend the 2006 Chancellor’s Academic Honors Convocation on Friday, April 28 in the University Place Conference Center Auditorium.

The convocation will begin with a reception at 6 p.m. in the foyer outside of the auditorium followed by the program at 7 p.m. Christian Kloesel, professor of English and chair of the Department of English in the School of Liberal Arts will be the featured speaker.

Faculty, if they wish, can participate in the processional wearing academic apparel.

Among the faculty awards to be presented are the Chancellor’s Professors, the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Glenn W. Irwin Jr. MD Research Scholar.

Students to be recognized will include the Chancellor Scholars for each academic unit at IUPUI and the Chancellor’s Undergraduate Research Award recipient. Please contact the Office of Academic Policies, Procedures and Documentation at (317) 274-4627, if you have questions about the event.
