“Crucial Conversations” Coming to HRA Training

HRA is again sponsoring the annual IUPUI Spring Staff Seminar. The topic this year is “Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking When Stakes are High,” presented by Murray Low. The seminar will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2006, in University Place Conference Center, Room 137. Participants can chose to attend either the 9 a.m. to noon, or 1 to 4 p.m. session.

This seminar will introduce principles needed to handle crucial conversations; principles that, if practiced, will yield major improvements in areas like productivity, quality, safety, diversity, change management, and personal relationships.

Registration, limited to 100 participants per session, is $40. Each participant will receive a copy of the book “Crucial Conversations.”
