African Film Series
To mark the reopening of the IMA’s Eiteljorg Galleries of African Art, the museum in partnership with the IUPUI Committee on African and African-American studies, will present an African film series.
Film titles, country and viewing dates are: “Moolaade,” Senegal, Thursday, Feb. 16; “Daughter of Keltoum,” Algeria, Thursday, Feb. 23; and Keita:” Voice of the Griot,” Mali/Burkina Faso, Thursday, March 2.
All films begin at 7 p.m. on the viewing date at the IMA DeBoest Lecture Hall, 4000 Michigan St. Tickets are $3 for IMA members and students; and $5 for the general public.
A bonus event at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 25, features the silent film “Siliva Zulu,” set to live music.
