Doing Well By Doing Good
What is the goal of medical practice? To protect the incomes of physicians and healthcare organizations? Or to generate value to patients and communities? Or is there a third choice?
Richard Gunderman, faculty fellow, Tobias Center for Leadership Excellence and co-director of the Program in Medical Humanities at IUPUI, will discuss this topic from noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006 in the Medical Library, IB 301-02. The lecture, “Doing Well by Doing Good,” is part of the Seminars in Medical Humanities and Bioethics series, presented by the Medical Humanities Program in conjunction with the Indiana University Center for Bioethics.
This event is open to the public, but space is limited. Call Kelly Canaday at (317) 278-1669 or e-mail medicalhumanities@gmail.com to reserve a seat.
