Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit Training

Volunteers are needed to help seniors enroll for the new Medicare prescription drug benefit program. A training session for volunteers will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, January 21, 2006, in ES 4130.

Following the training session, volunteers will assist seniors with enrollment from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2006, at the 4th Floor commons of the School of Social Work building, 902 W. New York St. This event is free and open to the public.

Enrollment for the new Medicare benefit runs through May 15, 2006. Senior citizens need to choose a plan and enroll to receive drug coverage.
