Public Interest and Community Service Fair: “Life Outside the Cubicle”

What? Representatives of 30 local, national and international organizations will be available to talk with students about the work of their respective organizations and how students and graduates may get involved in short and long-term humanitarian and public service. Organizations like the Peace Corps, Americorps and VISTA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, YMCA, Teach for America, Habitat for Humanity, and Girls Inc., are expected to attend, offering volunteer and part-time job opportunities now and post-college, career-building experiences upon graduation.

When? 1 to 4 p.m., Monday, Nov. 7, 2005

Where? Ivy Tech Community College Auditorium, 4th Floor, North Meridian Center.

The fair is open to students, prospective graduates and alumni of IUPUI, the College Career Center Consortium and Ivy Tech Community College. Parking is available in Lot #1.
