New Campus Center Bell Tower Facts

When the IUPUI Campus Center is completed, its bell tower will stand 180 feet tall.

But just how high is that?
Consider this: The crane currently at the Campus Center construction site is 224 feet tall. Since it is sitting 24 feet below grade, the top of the crane rises 200 feet above ground. So in the skyline view of the city, the Bell Tower, if completed, would stand out as prominently as the construction crane. The difference between the heights of the two structures would be 20 feet.

So as you catch a glimpse of the IUPUI construction project from vintage points around town, you are getting a preview of how the Campus Center tower will stand out in the Indianapolis skyline.
