Diversity Conference Set for November 4

The IUPUI campus “Conference On Diversity: From Vision to Action,” sponsored by the Vice Chancellor for Student Life & Diversity will be held Friday, November 4, 2005.

The conference is intended to; 1) Increase knowledge of what colleagues are doing across IUPUI to advance diversity; 2) Create an environment that empowers or inspires diversity work and; 3) Identify who is advancing diversity throughout IUPUI. Each participant will receive a directory of all of the conference participants and a directory of "Good Works" in diversity.

The conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the University Place Conference Center. Participants are asked to register online by November 1 at http://www.iupui.edu/~iuihome/diversity/register/conference.php. All faculty, staff and students who work to advance diversity at IUPUI are invited to attend. Cost is $10 per person
