Collaborative Action Research Workshops Scheduled

Loyola University Professor Phil Nyden will present two workshops on collaborative action research. He will present “Collaborative Action Research Methodology” from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m., Monday Oct. 24 in Room 1116 of University Library.

The second workshop, “Establishing and Sustaining Collaborative Research Initiatives,” will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Oct. 25 in Room 1116 of University Library.

Join Nyden to learn about models of university-community action research designs in which community organizations work as equal partners with faculty from conceptualizing and designing the research to writing and disseminating the results. Nyden is a professor of sociology and director of the Center for Urban Research and Learning at Loyola University Chicago.
