“Hope Photographs” Exhibition Opens at Herron Galleries

Even without uttering the word, hope is with us as an instinct, a feeling, an impulse, as an insistent human reflex in the face of negativism and despair. The 107 photographs in this collection (curated by Alice Rose George and Lee Marks) were assembled to make hope more than a reflex. The exhibit opens Friday, October 14, 2005, 5-8 p.m. at Herron Galleries at the Herron School of Art and Design at IUPUI. It will run through November 13, 2005. Gallery hours are: Daily 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., Thursdays until 7 p.m. Free admission
