Chili for Charity to be held October 20

Is your chili Hot or Not? That’s the question we’ll be asking at the 11th annual Chili for Charity.

This year’s event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20 at the Business/SPEA building breezeway, 801 West Michigan St. Funds raised will go towards the IUPUI United Way campaign.

This very popular event brings together the entire campus for fun, food and a good cause. Last year, more than 100 cooks created chili dishes and served more than 1,000 people, raising more than $5,000 for the United Way of Central Indiana.

The success of the event rests on the volunteers who contribute their time to organize, cook and serve chili.
