Comedians To Entertain IUPUI, Benefit Hurricane Katrina Victims

The Department of Communication Studies and the Salvation Army will host Comics That Care, a charity event to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina on September 26 in Lecture Hall. This comedy show will feature some of the area’s funniest professional comics including Marques Bunn, Mel Fine, Mike Polites and Troy Davis. The headliner for the evening will be Mike Armstrong, from Comedy Central and the Bob and Tom show.

WHAT: Comics That Care
WHEN: Monday September 26th, 8:00pm
WHERE: Lecture Hall 101 located on University Avenue (between Michigan and New York) on IUPUI’s campus
COST: Tickets are $10 at the door
BENEFITS: All proceeds will be donated to hurricane relief efforts
