New Events Calendar Launched

Communications & Marketing, in conjunction with the office of Executive Vice Chancellor and Dean of Faculties William M. Plater, has just launched the new campus events calendar at events.iupui.edu.

Events that users list in the IU events calendar (the old IUPUI events site) will continue to appear on the new site.

The most frequent question asked Communications & Marketing is “How do I promote my event?” A primary goal of this new calendar Web site is to help units across campus promote their events much more effectively.

The site also includes a large number of events in the community (in partnership with www.indy.org and www.indyarts.org). More than 1,000 events are currently posted in the system, with most occurring during the next three months. The numerous calendar listings clearly communicate to current and prospective students, faculty and staff one of the primary advantages of an urban campus – there is a lot to do, both on and off campus!
