Sport and Art Camp Art Exhibited at the National Art Museum Of Sport
The National Art Museum of Sport has opened a campus exhibit of work produced by youngsters, ages 5 to 14, who attended the 2005 SpARTan Sport and Art Camps.
Thirty-four drawings, paintings and sculptures will be on display in the Museum until Dec. 15. The Museum, located at the University Place Hotel and Conference Center, 850 West Michigan St., is open to the public free of charge from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Approximately 400 youngsters participated in the week-long camps held at four community locations. The camps were a collaboration between the non-profit Art With A Heart program, six summer youth programs and National Art Museum of Sport.
