Faculty, Staff Offered 70 Percent Discount to Attend Windows Security Workshop

IUPUI faculty and staff can attend a six-day intensive training workshop on securing a Windows system, and receive more than 70 percent off the $2,895 registration fee.

The SANS workshop “SECURITY 505: Securing Windows” will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Oct. 3-8 at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, 350 W. Maryland. Participants can learn everything they need to know about securing a Windows system.

Indiana University and the SANS institute have partnered to offer the training at the significantly discounted rate. Faculty and staff from any accredited educational institution, along with non-federal United States law enforcement personnel, can attend the workshop for the reduced rate.

The discounted registration fee is $750, before July 28; or $850 after that date.
