Herron Junior Earns Art Directors Scholarship

Jon Mcglothin, a junior at Herron School of Art and Design, has received a prestigious scholarship from the Art Directors Club, an international professional organization. Mcglothin, who is majoring in visual communication, received $2,500 as recipient of the 2005 Veer Scholarship for Excellence in Graphic Design. Based on a professional review of his body of work, which includes the painting shown, Mcglothin was selected for the award from a competitive field of students nominated by faculty members at the most prestigious schools in the nation. Entry into the competition is by invitation only
