500 Festival Mini-Marathon and Final Exams

New York Street at University Boulevard will close at 6 p.m. today (Friday, May 6) in preparation for the Mini-Marathon being held at 7:30 a.m. Saturday. No traffic will be allowed east from University Boulevard on New York Street after 6 p.m. today.

Traffic and parking will be heavy in and around the campus area Saturday anytime after 6 a.m.

Those scheduled to take exams Friday night and/or Saturday should plan according in order to arrive on time.

The easiest access to campus before and during the race will be from the West Street exits of I-65 (Exit 114) to Michigan Street and on Michigan Street from the east. The Blackford Street garage and Lot 80 will be reserved for IUPUI permits during this event.

The race starts on Washington Street downtown. The Mini-Marathon goes west on Washington to White River Parkway West Drive, north to 10th Street and west on 10th to the track. The race returns to campus on Michigan Street then south on White River Parkway West Drive to New York Street and west on New York to the finish at Military Park.
