Civil Rights Lawyer Tackles Patriot Act
Fran Quigley, Indiana Civil Liberties Union executive director, will talk about the USA Patriot Act from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis in Room 259, Inlow Hall, 530 W. New York St. The event is free and open to the public.
The Patriot Act, passed after the 9/11 tragedy, is set to expire in December; however, some are vying to make the law’s provisions permanent.
