Groundbreaking held for Science and Engineering Laboratory Building at IUPUI

Indiana University President Michael A. McRobbie presided over groundbreaking ceremonies today, March 28, for a new laboratory building at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis that will provide critically needed space for faculty to engage in path-breaking education and research that contribute extensively to the economic vitality of the state.
Construction of the $25 million Science and Engineering Laboratory Building is expected to be completed in 18 months.

IUPUI hosted an unprecedented delegation from strategic partner Sun Yat-Sen University in China March 19–30. Thirty-seven deans, associate deans, and heads of units arrive at IUPUI for intensive two-week training in the area of teaching and learning.
SYSU is being hosted on the IUPUI campus by the IUPUI Center for Teaching and Learning.
