Inside IUPUI Events and AnnouncementsState of the Campus AddressChancellor Bantz will deliver his State of the Campus address entitled "The Talent Dividend: How Impact is Made." He will talk about the national effort launched by CEO's for Cities to calculate the economic impact having more college graduates has on the nation's cities and what IUPUI is doing to contribute to local efforts to reap the "talent dividend" for Indianapolis. CHAIRish the ChildrenHerron School of Art and Design students will transform 30 children's chairs into works of art as part of a fund-raiser to benefit the children supported by The Villages and Prevent Child Abuse Indiana. The chairs, along with additional chairs donated by guest artists, will be the featured items in a special silent auction from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at the Indianapolis Artsgarden at Circle Centre Mall in downtown Indianapolis.
