Increasingly, the public face of IUPUI has become its web site. Whether recruiting students, staff, or faculty, when people want to know more about us, it's our web site that leads them to the information they want.
Our award-winning Communications and Marketing team has led the development of a one-day, on-campus conference to help web developers and those responsible for electronic communications improve skills and share resources. This first eduDEV Conference takes place in the ICTC Building on October 30, 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. It is free and open to all IUPUI and IU staff in Indianapolis, but you should register to save your spot. Lunch will be provided for registered attendees.
It will cover the whole range of electronic communications from social media to photography to web content management, improving search engine visibility, and more.
I know it will be time well spent, and you will be helping IUPUI put its best face forward to the world.

Free H1N1 Vaccinations Expected, Flu Clinic Dates to be Announced
IUPUI Health Services expects to get significant amounts of the H1N1 Vaccine from the Marion County Health Department. Once the vaccines arrive, Health Services will hold flu vaccination clinics for IUPUI faculty, staff and students. Times and locations of these clinics will be announced via JagNews, JagTV, Inside IUPUI and other campus communication channels. Information regarding these clinics will be update daily on the IUPUI Health Services website: health.iupui.edu.
The flu clinics will provide free H1N1 vaccinations for IUPUI faculty, staff and students who belong to the CDC priority groups of individuals who should receive vaccinations. For a list of the priority groups, go to: http://www.iupui.edu/~prepared/h1n1/.
Along with hand hygiene and cough etiquette, the single most important thing that people can do to protect themselves from H1N1 flu is to get the H1N1 vaccine.
IUPUI staff and students are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to receive H1N1 flu vaccinations during campus clinics.
