Athletics All Sports Pass Available

IUPUI Athletics All Sports passes are now available for $20.

With the ultimate "season ticket" you can attend any number of more than 50 athletic events including, men's and women's soccer, volleyball, men's and women's swimming and diving, and softball. The All Sports Pass is valid for each ticketed sport with the exception of men's and women's basketball.

Farmer's Showcase - IUPUI Campus Center Food Court

Inaugural IUPUI Regatta Set for Sept. 19

The inaugural IUPUI Regatta - a canoe relay race on the Downtown Canal – will take place Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009.

Students, alumni, faculty and staff are invited and encouraged to form teams to participate in this new campus event, supporting scholarships and featuring a community carnival with fun, food, and live music.

Teams will race against others in their respective categories, culminating in a final race between students, alumni, faculty and staff with winners receiving bragging rights and a spot on the IUPUI Regatta Cup trophy.

Jag Jaunt "A Walkathon to Support Women's Scholarships"

The 3rd annual Jag Jaunt will take place on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009. The walk, which raises money for women's athletic scholarships, will take place at the Michael A. Carroll Track and Field Stadium, beginning at 10 a.m.

This year, a captain's system is being implemented, with one person captaining a group of walkers. Each group is asked to raise $200. Registration for walkers is $25, while IUPUI students can walk for $15.

Race Celebrates Diversity and Raises Scholarship Fund for IPS

Asian American Alliance, Inc. (AAAI), a local, non-profit organization with a mission of inspiring Asian Americans to serve and lead, will host the seventh annual "Race for All Races" on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at Military Park in downtown Indianapolis.

This family-friendly 5K Run/Walk and a 1-Mile Family Walk brings people of all different races, ethnicities and backgrounds together to celebrate diversity.

The opening ceremony is at 8:45 a.m. The 5K run/walk begins at 9 a.m. and the 1-mile family walk starts at 9:10 a.m. After the race, participants can enjoy the Second Annual Chinese Festival, also taking place at Military Park. The festival is free and open to the public.

A portion of the proceeds from "Race for All Races" will fund IPS scholarships. In the past six years, AAAI has awarded more than 100 scholarships totaling nearly $60,000.
