Sotfball Camps Scheduled for Late June

IUPUI Head Softball Coach Maggie Calcaterra recently announced dates for her summer Pitching & Catching Camp and All Skills Camp, to be held at the IUPUI Softball Complex. The Pitching & Catching Camp is scheduled to run from June 22-23 and is open to kids ages 5-18 of all skill levels.

IUPUI Diversity Committee to Meet

The Diversity Management Committee at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis will convene at 3 p.m. on June 4, 2009, in Room 103 of the Administration (AO) Building, 355 N. Lansing.

The Indiana Code requires that similar committees be formed on all campuses to review and recommend faculty employment policies concerning diversity issues; review faculty and administration personnel complaints concerning diversity issues; make recommendations to promote and maintain cultural diversity among faculty members; and make recommendations to promote recruitment and retention of minority students.

Habitat for Humanity Volunteers Needed

Student, faculty, staff and community volunteers are needed for a Habitat for Humanity new home construction project that begins on June 3, 2009.

No construction experience is needed. Slots are open for volunteers to work mornings, afternoons, or both.
