Inside IUPUI Events and Announcements10th Annual IUPUI Outstanding Student Recognition DinnerThe IUPUI Alumni Council and the Student Organization for Alumni Relations will recognize students during the 10th Annual IUPUI Outstanding Student Recognition Dinner, on Friday, April 3, 2009, at the Indianapolis Marriott, 350 W. Maryland St. The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m., with dinner following at 7 p.m. Tickets are $30 for guests and complimentary for honored students. RSVP deadline is March 27, 2009. IUPUI Staff Council Legacy ProjectPlease join Staff Council members from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2009, at the corner of Michigan and West streets for the first annual spring planting of flowers. Bring your trowel, a small rake and gloves. The Legacy Project is a Staff Council initiative to give back to the campus and community by helping to beautify the campus portal at Michigan and West streets. The project involves planting flowers in the spring and fall and maintaining the green space during the summer. March 28, 2009, is the rain date for the spring planting project.
