Bepko Staff Council Spirit AwardIUPUI Staff Council wants to recognize full-time staff members who exemplify the spirit of IUPUI, strengthening IUPUI by fostering collegiality, cooperation, creativity and innovation toward the end of helping IUPUI become one of the nation's best urban universities for employment and education. Anyone is welcome to nominate a staff for the IUPUI Gerald L. Bepko Staff Council Spirit Award. The due date for nomination is March 31, 2009. Freshmen and Seniors Student SurveyThis spring, freshmen and seniors can help shape the IUPUI student experience by participating in an important survey. Students should receive e-mail invitations asking them to complete the NSSE survey. The brief online survey asks students about their activities and experiences at IUPUI. The data from this survey will help identify opportunities for improvement and allow IUPUI to gauge its progress in comparison to its peers. Faculty Cap and Gown Orders for CommencementThe 2009 IUPUI Commencement ceremonies will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2009. Academic apparel is available for rent and may be ordered on the commencement website: www.alumni.iupui.edu/commencement. There is no charge to faculty for cap and gown rental for orders received by Friday, March 20, 2009. There is, however, a charge for academic hoods; and all orders received after Friday, March 20, will be subject to a $15 late fee. The late fee applies to both cap and gown and/or hood orders. |
