14. IU police at IUPUI offer theft prevention tips
The IU Police welcome new and returning students to IUPUI for the fall 2013 semester, and encourage them to help make the campus safer for all.

Students and staff alike can help fight campus crime by calling 317-274-7911 to report any suspicious/criminal activity. Police also urge community members to be proactive and protect themselves from becoming victims of either bicycle or vehicle theft.

Students and staff can take a few simple steps to make it harder for someone to steal their property. Never leave any property unattended in the library or a classroom or anywhere for that matter. It only takes a split second for you to become a victim of property theft.
