1. Cap & Gown Ordering Is Now Available
Cap and Gown ordering is now available via the IUPUI Commencement website. The deadline to order online at a reduced rate and have it delivered to your home is Monday, March 25. After March 25, the cost for academic apparel will increase by $10 and you will have to pick it up at Cap & Gown Distribution in May. The FINAL deadline to order is April 5. 2. Women in Technology 3rd Annual Networking Event
Event will be hosted on March 26 in Campus Center Rm450 from 8:30-3pm. Events will include student presentations and poster sessions, a career fair and roundtable discussions over lunch. 3. Indiana Pacers vs. Orlando Magic Tickets
Join SAPB on Tuesday, March 19th at 7pm as we head to Bankers Life Fieldhouse for Pacers vs. Orlando Magic! Students will receive Pacers VIP pre-game viewing and sit courtside while the team warms-up and will meet Pacers player and IUPUI alumni George Hill. Tickets are $6 and will be sold on March 6th, 7th, 18th and 19th on the first floor of the Campus Center from 12-2 p.m.

7. SAPB Presents: Comedy Night with Will Marfori
Join SAPB for a night of laughs with comedian Will Marfori at 7 p.m. on March 5th in the Campus Center Theater. Will has appeared on the Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson and is a regular on Sirius/XM Satellite radio. He performs at comedy clubs, colleges, and cruise ships, and also tours almost 50 weeks a year all around the world.

8. Paws for a Cause!
Give back to IUPUI through the CASE ASAP Day of Service with SOAR! We will be closing our week of events by giving awards at the IUPUI home basketball game on Thursday, Feb. 28th. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Campus Center atrium we will have tables where you can thank alumni donors either by writing a thank you card or saying thanks in a video that will be sent to the donors. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Jungle so we hope to see you there as well!

9. Phi Mu Celebrates 161 Years of Sisterhood
Phi Mu Rho Alpha will be hosting a Founder's Day Ceremony for alumnae and current members to celebrate the founding of our sisterhood 161 years ago on March 4, 1852. Rho Alpha will also be participating in the 3rd annual National Ritual Celebration Week observed March 3 to 9, 2013. During this week, fraternity and sorority chapters, campus communities and international organizations will raise awareness of the importance of ritual in our organizations.

11. Salvation Army Donation Drive
The Salvation Army Drive will be on campus Tuesday March 26 and Wednesday March 27 for a Spring Cleaning Donation Drive. Bring new or gently used items to donate in Taylor Courtyard from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. both days.

A kickoff information meeting will take place Thursday, Feb. 28 in UL 1116 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. All are welcome to learn about the drive, what items are being collected and how you can help.

13. Indiana Health Law Review Symposium - "Are We Willing to Trust Patients?"
The Indiana Health Law Review cordially invites all members of the IUPUI community to attend this year's symposium on March 8, 2013 from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Wynne Courtroom of Inlow Hall. The symposium will examine the extent to which patients are trusted as emerging models of health care and health care financing place greater emphasis on patient choice and engagement. Professor George Loewenstein of Carnegie Mellon University will present the keynote address at 9 a.m.

15. Fanny Wright and the Enlightenment's Unfinished Revolution
The School of Liberal Arts Sabbatical Speaker Series presents Professor Jason M. Kelly, History.

Fanny Wright was a Scottish emigrant who braved the Indiana frontier. She was a friend to Jefferson and Lafayette, and an advocate for feminism, worker's rights, and the abolition of slavery. This is the story of one woman's quest for universal equality in an age of slavery and oppression.

16. Weight Watchers at work meetings
Consider joining us for Weight Watchers at Work meetings in the ES building on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. The cost is $39.95 per month. Employees may be able to use their TSB or HSA accounts with their doctor's approval. To date, our group has lost more than 400 lbs. Three members have lost 100 lbs each. 20. Videos Without Borders 2013 Exhibit at the Cultural Arts Gallery
This exhibition is a compilation of video-based artworks by current and former students in Herron School of Art and Design's K300 Advanced Digital Class, as well as graduate students in Herron's MFA in Visual Art and Public Life program. The exhibit lasts from Feb. 24 to March 8, and is located in the Cultural Arts Gallery in the IUPUI Campus Center.

26. Women's track team to host open tryout on March 19
IUPUI Head Women's Track coach Antonio McDaniel has announced that he'll host an open tryout on Tuesday, March 19 at 4 p.m. at the on-campus Michael A. Carroll Stadium. With the IUPUI track program being formed with a focus around the distance events, participants will be asked to run a 3,000m time trial that day.

In order to try out for the track team, interested student-athletes must be enrolled full-time (12 credit hours) and be in good academic standing.

28. Share Your Love of Service: Apply for the Sam Jones Service Scholarship!
If you like to volunteer, care what happens in the city or want to get others more involved with our community, there is still time to apply for the Sam H. Jones Community Service Scholarship program.

Eligible applicants have at least a 2.75 GPA and previous experience in the community through service or leadership activities. Awards range up to $4500.

29. Study for Parents of Older Children and Adolescents with Problems
Are you and your teen having problems getting along?

Indiana University School of Social Work needs parents of youth ages 10 to 16 to take part in a study.

The study will look at the effects of using an online multimedia program and guided discussion for parents of challenging youth. Online participation is anonymous. Participants completing the study receive $40.

30. Participating in the "Branding and Website Usability" study and earn $10
IUPUI students are invited to participate in an experiment exploring the relation between web design and branding (IRB #1301010402).

In the study, you will be guided to use a university website, and answer related interview questions.

The entire study should last less than one hour. Upon completion, you will receive a $10 Amazon gift card as a token of appreciation of your time and effort.

31. Research Study for Children and Adolescents with Tourette's Disorder
Doctors at IU School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry are conducting a research study of an investigational medication for children ages 7-17 with Tourette's Disorder. The study involves up to 11 visits over 18 weeks. Participants will receive study procedures, mental health evaluations and medication or placebo at no charge. 32. Research Study for Adolescents with Juvenile Primary Fibromyalgia Syndrome

33. Memory, Language, and Intellectual Abilities Study
If you or your child is between the ages of 3 and 29 years of age, you might qualify for a new research study.

Researchers at IU School of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery are conducting a research study at Riley Hospital to investigate differences in language and neurocognitive skills between people with normal hearing and people with cochlear implants. Study participants will receive free evaluations consisting of language and ability tests and behavior questionnaires. Participants will be reimbursed $20 per hour for your time in testing and $20 per hour for your time in travel.

34. Control Subjects Needed for Bone Health Study
Researchers in the Center for Translational Musculoskeletal Research at IUPUI are seeking control subjects for a bone health study.Children must be aged 8 to 9 years old, healthy and have no history of playing baseball or softball. Eligible participants will come to our testing facility for a single visit lasting 60-90 minutes and receive copies of their assessments as well as compensation for their time. 35. Research Study Evaluating Weight Watchers to Prevent Type 2 Diabetes
If you are age 18 or older and overweight you MAY be eligible for a two-year research study evaluating the effectiveness of a new weight loss program developed by Weight Watchers for people with pre-diabetes.

The ACT Center of Indiana, led by Dr. Michelle Salyers is currently taking applications for volunteers as a research assistant. We currently need a responsible individual to enter data and transcribe interviews from a study examining how patients and doctors communicate in a sample of individuals with severe mental illness. Requirements: GPA of 3.2 or higher.
