Undergraduate Majors : Public Health (Certificate)


Description

The curriculum is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of environmental health issues, current health policies, the structure of the medical care delivery system, administrative techniques used in health related facilities, and methods of determining the significance of various factors on health.

Eligibility and Application Procedure

  • Students enrolled in baccalaureate programs from nearly any department or school of Indiana University and other accredited colleges or universities who are in good academic standing are eligible.
  • SPEA students cannot get an area certificate in the same area as their concentration.
  • Students must declare their intent to earn this certificate prior to completing nine (9) semester hours creditable toward the certificate. Applications for admission may be obtained through the SPEA Student Services office, BS 3027.
  • Upon certification that the student has been awarded a baccalaureate degree and completion of all certificate requirements, the student will be awarded the certificate.
