Undergraduate Majors : Health Systems Administration (minor)

Description

The Health Systems Administration minor offers an introduction to the U.S. health care system, as well as the skills needed for positions in health administration. It's a good choice for students in pre-med, nursing, dentistry, and health professions who want to learn basic business skills. It is also good for business students who wish to specialize within the health care field

Admissions/Certification

Any Indiana University students enrolled in a baccalaureate program, except those pursuing a degree in public health may pursue the minor in health systems administration. Students who successfully complete the requirements will have the minor conferred with their degree.

Students must declare their intention to receive a minor by completing an application which will be available in SPEA Student Services, BS 3027. This application should be completed at the same time the student completes an application for graduation for the baccalaureate degree.
