Overview The adult health clinical nurse specialist major is a 42-credit-hour program. It is designed for either part- or full-time study. The graduate courses in the adult health clinical nurse specialist major offer a wide range of advanced practice learning experiences in a variety of health care settings. The required courses in the major provide a solid foundation in the use of research and theory as a basis for the diagnosis and treatment of illness and the promotion of wellness.
