Thousands of runners and walkers joined forces in the 2012 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to wage the fight against breast cancer. The event began with the traditional pre-race ceremonies on the IUPUI campus; the race course ran from Carroll Stadium, past the Indianapolis Zoo and ended near Inlow Hall.
